Habits and Behavior Needs to Survive Food Species needed for Survival Social Behavior |
The Siberian tiger is usually found in a woodland or mountain area.
The tigers have vast behavioural changes especially around each other for example they are extremely playful with their young and the others in their species or they can be extremely aggressive. The tigers need other wildlife to feed on and large unchanged spaces so they have room to hunt and live to their largest potential. The tiger usually eats wild boar, deer and elk but this diet can change if the tiger is desperate or sick which then causes this animal to go for any easy kill. Deer, elk, wild boar and other tigers. The tigers are extremely silent and prefer to hunt and live alone, they will fight for their habitat in ways that could be fatal and will protect their young at nearly all cost. When the young have matured they leave their mother and find an uninhabited area to live. |
What does it Look Like:
The Siberian tiger has thick fur that is white and orange with black stripes. Its paws have sharp claws for tearing their food and immobilising its prey. They have powerful bodies built for taking down large animals and things a lot heavier than them.
How it has Adapted
Defences |
The tiger has adapted its features so that it camouflages at twilight and has developed large claws for killing its prey. This tiger has also learnt to stay clear of human populated areas and to be wary around roads and compacted areas of dirt.
The tiger's size, strength and claws are its main defences. |
